Snails. Χοχλιοί και σαλιγκάρια.

Snails collected at the mountains of Crete.... Their future is not uncertain....
Que Sera, Sera...

Χοχλιοί, μαζεμμένοι στις Μαδάρες του Αποκόρωνα....
Δυστυχώς δεν έχουν και πολύ μέλλον...

This is pretty interesting. I lov ethe images of the snails all piled together. I know they're pests, and they eat the garden, but we had fun with them when I was a kid. We used to collect them in a box and then have "snail races." We'd wet down a strip of sidewalk (such as a narrow curb) so the snails would want to followw the water trail, and each of us friends had a snail. We would try to keep them going the same direction, and see which snail reached the finish line first. It's fun to remember that!
