Beautiful neo-classical buildings downtown Athens. Νεοκλασσικά κτίρια στην Αθήνα.

I left this one for last. I think it was the most beautiful. Now its abandoned and falling apart.
Αφησα το επόμενο τελευταίο. Είναι το πιο όμορφο.Αλλά είναι παρατημένο και διαλύεται.

Beautiful facade. I love neo-classical bulidings. Pity about the abandoned one. It would look great it if was restored.

You showed some very nice examples of Neo-Classic buildings and beautiful examples of wrought iron.

Athens is so very clean looking with nice wide streets and a beautiful clear blue sky.

Thank you for a look at your beautiful city.

Oh Costas, thank you for sharing these wonderful images, bringing us closer to your surroundings. What beautiful architecture and the colours of the buildings are brilliant hues. Too bad that old structure got torn away, they should be used for something. Have a great day Costas~

It saddens me to see beautiful buildings left to die

I love the angles you shoot from, you capture the most beautiful parts of each building
I really love the corner shots

Such impressive architecture! Lots of craftmanship & character. Beautiful! A shame the last building was left to crumble. Seems such a waste. Thanks for sharing Costas!

It's interesting - Rome and Italy borrowed so much from Greece, and now it seems Greece has borrowed something back. As the others have commented, it's sad to see a wonderful building falling apart. If it goes, they'll build something new, but maybe not better.

So many details from top to toe - how come that nobody in time have restored the last building? A greedy compagny who want a new building with lots of expensive tenancy??

What an eye for beauty you have! These old buildings are superbly captured ... I love the angles and detail.

And, of course, my favorite. The last one. The one that makes my imagination go crazy! That kind of building is a photographer's dream - although it is sad that it is abandoned and falling apart.
