Age has not touched you darling.

In my previous post I showed you some examples of how age is affecting all things, us included. Some beautiful old traditional houses in the village of Aghios Lavrentios (St Laurent) at Pelion, Greece. It is a pity to see the artwork of older masons and craftsmen falling apart. Today, I am showing you the results of a beautiful restoration and facelift, of another old traditional house in the same village. It is used now as a culture center, hosting expositions and other events.Unfortunately, I found it closed and could not take any photographs of the inside.

Great series of photos. It's great to see the restoration. That's one of the reasons we like living where we do because so much of the history has been preserved or restored.

It is so sad to see building falling into ruin as in your previous post Costas. It is always good to see these old buildings being restored and given many more years of life.
